We will be camping in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park at
the Smokemont Campground.
Smokemont is located approx. 4 miles from
parkway's beginning, on Newfound Gap Road (US 441).
We have reserved two group sites that hold up to 40 people between the two.
These slots will go to the first 40 people to register, unless they tell me
they have made other arrangements (single site, hotel, etc.).
Single sites are available, they cost $20 a night for up to 6 people.

If camping isn't for you, there are several hotels in Cherokee, NC.
All hotels in Cherokee are just short drive from the campground.
